This album was really one of a kind at the time. I think it turned me towards a lot of "Chillout" -type music and was one of the albums that inspired me technically. Samplers could make evocative tunes? Who knew?

Philip Glass - The Thin Blue Line (OST)

I listened to the soundtrack for at least a few years before I managed to see the actual film. I really love that a lot of dialogue is left on top of the music but I also wish I could listen to the score on its own. Philip Glass at his finest.
